About the role
As a Shift Lead youll play a key role in delivering outstanding person-centred care and be involved in day to day duties. Youll support the Team Manager by coaching and mentoring colleagues ensuring high standards of support and leading shifts with confidence and compassion.
In addition to day to day duties from youll have protected time to complete delegated duties such as:
- Supervisions and competency assessments
- Supporting clinical and therapeutic tasks (e.g. PEG care stoma/catheter care)
- Collaborating with families health professionals and MDTs
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are met
- Be part of a values-driven organisation that puts people first

Skills and Experience Needed
Youre an experienced support worker with a background supporting vulnerable adult. Youre confident in leading shifts mentoring others and making decisions that positively impact the lives of those we support.
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults
- Strong communication and decision making skills
- Ability to work flexibly across shifts (including weekends and holidays)
- Registered or working towards registration with Social Care Wales
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
