- Administer andmaintainSQL ServerandAzure SQLdatabases across multiple clients
- Monitorperformance optimisequeries and manage resources
- Install configure and upgradedatabase software(Azureandon-premise)
- Resolve incidents and service requests in line withITILstandards
- Maintaindocumentation procedures and database standards

- Contribute toChange Advisory Boardand proactive maintenance initiatives
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in database technologies and associated applications.

The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- 5 yearsin an operationalDBArole
- StrongSQL Serverknowledge (all supported versions)SSRSSSIS
- Experience withSQL ServeronAzure Virtual Machines
- ProficiencyinT-SQLPowerShell andKQL
- Windows OSadministration
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Eligible for or able to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Desirable:
- Microsoft Certifications(DP-900/DP-300)
- Experience withAzure PaaSAzure Data Factory orAzure Data Warehouse
- Oracle Database AdministrationandRMANexperience
- Familiarity withAWSLogic Apps orRedgate SQL Monitor
