Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and welding specifications to determine materials and welding methods required.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform welding operations to join metal parts including cutting shaping and fitting.
Inspect welded joints for structural soundness and compliance with standards.
Maintain welding tools and equipment ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures during welding activities.
Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality standards.
Document completed work and report any issues or defects encountered.
Follow project timelines and deliver work within deadlines.
Stay updated on new welding techniques and materials as required.
