Job Description

Our client is seeking a Delivery Engineering Lead with a strong technical background in software development and cloud-native engineering. This role will be responsible for leading engineering teams ensuring product health driving platform integration and overseeing the delivery of client-facing wealth management and investment products.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Python AWS Lambda Angular TypeScript SQS and SNS along with the ability to guide engineering teams influence stakeholders and support modern serverless and event-driven platforms.

Experience in wealth management investment platforms or financial services is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery for client-facing wealth management and investment products.
• Oversee product health including scalability security reliability performance and maintainability.
• Provide technical direction across backend frontend cloud and integration teams.
• Work closely with architects product owners developers QA DevOps and business stakeholders.
• Drive integration across multiple platforms and teams as systems move toward a unified ecosystem.
• Guide teams in serverless event-driven and cloud-native best practices.
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Identify technical risks delivery blockers and platform health issues.
• Mentor senior engineers and help improve engineering standards across teams.
• Influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams to adopt scalable and modern technology solutions.

Required Skills

• 10 years of software engineering experience.
• Prior experience in a technical lead engineering lead or delivery leadership role.
• Strong hands-on background in AWS Python AWS Lambda Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with serverless architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Strong knowledge of event-driven systems using AWS SQS and SNS.
• Experience building scalable secure and resilient enterprise applications.
• Ability to lead multiple teams and manage complex delivery dependencies.
• Strong understanding of product health performance reliability and maintainability.
• Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in wealth management FinTech investment products or financial services.
• Experience with client-facing digital investment platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory and data sensitivity requirements in financial services.
• Experience modernizing or integrating legacy platforms into cloud-native architectures.
