Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Follow Department IT processes and coordinate with IT staff for standards compliance
- Analyze current systems to understand inputs outputs and workflows
- Participate in all phases of software development and implementation
- May manage special projects as a project manager
- Establish and manage solution architecture for application development
- Document object design decisions estimating assumptions and performance metrics
- Plan design and develop solutions using Internet/Intranet/Extranet architecture
- Mentor and direct junior developers
- Attend and document project meetings distributing notes as needed
- Communicate project activities deliverables and status with teams and stakeholders
- Oversee and participate in code reviews
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert in solution architecture and web development
- Recommend best practices for web and enterprise solution design
- Ensure systems are compatible and integrated with existing environments
- Translate business requirements into technical architectures
- Design and develop prototypes system and application deliverables
- Participate in daily stand-ups and task accounting
- Develop and document standards procedures and project documentation
- Proficient in C#.Net MVC JQuery Responsive Design SQL Server Oracle Azure Visual Studio HTML
- Experience with Test Driven Development Unit Testing Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong communication problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Experience as project leader or subject matter expert on multiple projects
- Preferred: Experience with Word Excel Visio PowerPoint SharePoint Team Foundation Server
