Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format): Senior DevSecOps Engineer
- Lead the maturation of a cloud-native ecosystem within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment for a premier client in Washington D.C.
- Architect and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline CodeBuild and CodeDeploy focusing on blue/green deployment strategies.
- Develop and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Python-based AWS CDK and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Integrate security scanning tools (SAST DAST SCA) such as Checkmarx and SonarQube directly into DevOps workflows.
- Integrate and manage the Dynatrace platform for advanced application and infrastructure observability and incident response.
- Proactively identify monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities while ensuring compliance with NIST OWASP and CIS frameworks.
- Participate actively in SAFe Agile ceremonies including PI Planning iteration planning and cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate in a hybrid work environment requiring periodic onsite attendance in Washington D.C.
- Utilize strong programming skills in Python for infrastructure automation and custom DevOps tooling.
- Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience with core AWS services (IAM EC2 Lambda S3) and AWS-native deployment tools.
- Exhibit proven experience implementing security-first development practices and cloud governance.
- Foster a collaborative camera-on team culture with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) or CISSP.
- Prior experience in a SAFe Agile environment is highly encouraged; SAFe certification or formal training preferred.
