Land Survey Project Manager
Location: Phoenix or Mesa
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Up to $130000 per year (DOE)
We are seeking an experienced Land Survey Project Manager to lead and manage land surveying projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution managing client relationships ensuring technical accuracy and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project scopes prepare cost estimates and support contract negotiations
- Manage project budgets schedules and resource allocation
- Oversee survey project execution and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain and grow client relationships through effective communication
- Supervise mentor and develop survey team members
- Review survey data reports and drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to local state and industry standards
- Coordinate with internal teams engineers and external stakeholders
- Arizona Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) license required (issued by Arizona State Board of Technical Registration)
- Minimum 10 years of land surveying experience
- Strong knowledge of Public Land Survey System (PLSS)
- Familiarity with Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards
- Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong leadership communication and project management skills
- Prior experience managing multiple survey projects simultaneously
- Experience working with municipal and transportation-related projects
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage client expectations
