Job Summary
Duration: 3 Months with possible conversion to full-time/Contract to Hire
Location: On-site at Springfield IL
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate a complex program consisting of parallel workstreams. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment across teams managing dependencies mitigating risks and delivering the program on time within scope and within budget. The Program Manager will act as the central point of governance communication and execution oversight.
Own end-to-end delivery of the program spanning parallel workstreams
Define and implement program governance structure cadence and reporting
Establish program roadmap milestones and success metrics
Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and business outcomes
Coordinate across parallel workstream leads to ensure integrated execution
Manage interdependencies sequencing and resource conflicts
Facilitate cross-team collaboration and decision-making
Track progress and ensure consistency in delivery standards
Develop and maintain integrated program plan and timeline
Monitor execution against milestones and KPIs
Ensure adherence to scope budget and quality standards
Drive issue resolution and remove blockers
Identify assess and mitigate program-level risks
Maintain RAID (Risks Assumptions Issues Dependencies) log
Escalate critical issues to stakeholders with mitigation strategies
Engage senior leadership and key stakeholders regularly
Provide transparent status reporting and executive updates
Align business and technical teams on priorities and outcomes
Manage program budget and track financial performance
Ensure optimal allocation of resources across workstreams
Forecast resource needs and adjust as required
Create executive dashboards and status reports
Run program steering committee meetings
Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels
8 12 years of experience in program/project management
Proven experience managing large complex programs with multiple workstreams (5 preferred)
Strong understanding of program governance and delivery frameworks (Agile Waterfall or hybrid)
Experience managing cross-functional teams (business technology)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage risks dependencies and ambiguity
PMP PgMP or equivalent certification
Experience in enterprise transformation programs (e.g. cloud digital ERP)
Familiarity with tools like Jira MS Project Smartsheet or similar
