Job Title: Product Design Engineer

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Fuquay-Varina NC 27526
Duration: 24 Months (Possibility of extension and conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)

Job Summary

Mid-level mechanical engineer role responsible for product design validation and cross-functional engineering support combining mechanical electrical exposure with hands-on equipment work and real-world manufacturing integration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and subsystems using CAD tools (Creo)
Support product verification and validation testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing quality marketing supply chain)
Perform engineering analysis to improve cost quality and performance
Develop engineering drawings specifications and documentation
Support electrical components development (lights alarms diagnostics)
Assist in machine builds prototyping and equipment upgrades
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide hands-on support in shop and field environments
Manage part design lifecycle and PDM workflows

Education / Experience
