This position is responsible for editing and refining business and technical documentation procurement materials and other clients program documents required by CMS.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for editing and refining business and technical documentation procurement materials and other clients program documents required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).The role participates in meetings performs a variety of administrative and documentation related tasks and conducts technical reviews of clients program level materials to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. The Clients Technical Writer collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders including project teams technical teams vendors and contract and budget offices to ensure all documentation is accurate clear consistent and compliant.
This position provides specialized technical writing expertise essential for developing planning implementation and operations documentation that supports the clients Medicaid Program. The role ensures complex technical and program information is translated into clear well structured documentation aligned with expectations and submitted on schedule. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation standards ensuring compliance meeting deadlines and supporting initiatives across the enterprise. The Technical Writer may also assist other Business Units as needed.
Strong writing skills with the ability to synthesize technical and narrative information for non-technical audiences. - Required 4 Years
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and manage competing deadlines. - Required 3 Years
Proficiency with Microsoft Office SharePoint and document management tools. - Required 3 Years
Comfort with technical documentation tools workflow systems and collaborative platforms. - Required 3 Years
Skilled in translating complex technical financial and program information for diverse audiences. - Required 4 Years
Experience in structuring documents managing version control and maintaining consistency across large documentation sets. - Required 4 Years
Strong problem-solving skills to clarify gaps identify risks and ensure documentation accuracy. - Required 4 Years
Ability to work effectively with SMEs project teams and Medicaid business units. - Required 3 Years
Strong interpersonal communication organizational and tracking skills. - Required 3 Years
