Position: Business Project Manager III

Location: Hybrid; Local Candidates to Bay Area CA Only

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $60-65/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning activities to initiate projects with proper scope
• Anticipate and plan appropriate resources and schedules
• Set up projects in Planisware or CSD Intake and Execution Tools and ensure stages gates deliverables and activities are properly defined and executable
• Develop and actively manage assigned projects to ensure adherence to scope schedule budget financial requirements quality metrics and key objectives
• Write and create statements of work for vendors and subcontractors
• Write and create project deliverables such as requirements documents test plans and other technical documentation
• Facilitate clear and concise technical meetings and weekly status meetings documenting and publishing meeting notes and action items within one business day
• Ensure all deliverables and documentation are routed and filed in a timely manner
• Communicate expectations and status to team members managers and stakeholders
• Delegate tasks to assigned project team members and stakeholders as applicable
• Build develop and maintain strong relationships critical to project success
• Utilize tools such as Planisware Ariba SAP Forecasts and Jira to manage and report on project work
• Proactively manage changes in project scope identify risks and develop contingency plans
• Proactively manage project financials
• Conduct site walk downs or visit physical installation sites as required
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
• Conduct project post mortems and capture lessons learned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field such as Information Systems Industrial Technology Engineering or Computer Science
• Project Management Professional certification or a minimum of six years of relevant work experience
• Strong analytical technical and problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to gain cooperation from management stakeholders clients and partners
• Experience working independently and in collaborative team environments
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
• Ability to conduct research into project related issues and products
