Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY: This position exists to enhance the current services offered by The Salvation Army to persons experiencing housing and/or food insecurity in a manner that provides dignity for all.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Food Services: Planning preparation and distribution of daily meals

Clothing Hygiene: Receiving sorting and distribution of clothing and hygiene items.

Referrals and Visitation: Visit with clients and make referrals as necessary

Administrative: Updating Link2Feed report distribution

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

Post secondary education in a related field or 1 year experience preferred

Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements

CPR and First Aid

Skills and Attributes:

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Food safe Certification are an asset but not required

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $19.09 to $23.87 with a maximum of $28.64.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
