Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled CT Tech for a 13-week contract position at Malta Med Emergent Care an outpatient clinic near Saratoga Hospital. The role will involve both MRI and CT work. For the first portion of the contract (6/8 - 7/17) you will be responsible for MRI procedures. The second portion (7/18 - 9/5) will focus on CT procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens MRI equipment particularly the Espree MRI unit as well as proficiency in CT. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality imaging for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical setting with a variety of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• MRI (6/8 7/17):
  • Perform MRI procedures primarily using the Siemens Espree MRI unit
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures
  • Follow all hospital protocols and safety guidelines
  • Perform patient assessments and prepare them for imaging
• CT (7/18 9/5):
  • Perform diagnostic CT imaging for a variety of clinical indications
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality images are captured
  • Administer contrast agents as required for imaging
  • Follow standard safety and operational protocols for CT scanning
  • Coordinate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
• Document all procedures and patient information using Epic

Required Qualifications:

• Siemens MRI experience preferably with the Espree MRI unit
• New York State License and IV certification
• Proficiency in CT
• Experience using Epic for documentation
• Ability to work with both MRI and CT imaging technologies
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
