WHAT WE OFFER
Full-time (Leave replacement) Term ending October 29 2027 Fredericton On-Campus
Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri 7:45 am - 4:00 pm 36.25 hours per week (Summer Hours)
Salary Range: $50149 - $62686 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Senior Director of Service Transformation & Experience the Communications Officer is responsible for helping plan develop implement monitor and evaluate ITS operational and project communications.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of ITS project communications.
- Gather determine and create plans on how to deliver information best.
- Determine how to monitor and evaluate communications plans. Collect and report on decided measurements.
- Engage with audiences. Write and share content create short videos collaborate on design layouts and image development work on printed content and develop surveys.
- Deliver communication plans that meet delivery schedules.
- Keep up-to-date with communication channels methods UNB communities can be reached and changes to communication standards.
- Monitor standard ITS communications through footprints tickets and outage postings.
- Plan service and emergency communications.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration Communications Marketing or another related field.
- 2 - 5 years experience in communications and marketing.
Additional Strengths
- Bachelors degree would be considered a strong asset.
- Experience in technology communications and marketing would be an asset.
- Skilled in the use of social media platforms.
- Familiar with content management systems would be an asset.
- Excellent writing editing and communications skills.
- Excellent interpersonal organizational planning assessment and time management skills.
