To strengthen our motivated Maintenance Team at our plant in Indianapolis IN we are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician.
Your Role
You will maintainan effective parts inventory that will allow repairs to be completed in a timely manner.
You can ensurespare parts are on hand for high demand machines proactively planningand orderingas needed to provide stabilized machine performance.
You can orderparts and interactwith vendors until order and/or repair is complete.
You are knowledgeable about prioritizingrepairs for issues that arise within the building.
You have the ability to troubleshootelectronic and electrical issues across all departments.
You will readand interpretmaintenance requests and completeas needed both electronically and manual.
Maintaina safe work area and exhibitsafe work habits at all times in areas around machines.
You understandand practicecGMPs standard procedures and work instructions.
You will usegood judgment and consistency when making or directing repairs and/or adjustments on machines.
Providetimely feedback to Department Managers and Production Supervisors of machine condition and potential upcoming issues as noticed during preventative maintenance upkeep.
You are ambitious about assistingwith machine evaluations and mechanical condition audits.
You will workclosely with area managers on machine failures and corrective actions.
Assist otherMaintenance staff as needed in completing repairs.
AssistMaintenance Lead in directing coaching and mentoring less experienced Maintenance staff.
You will shareknowledge with machine operators to develop them into self-sufficient productive employees.
All other duties as reasonably requested.
Your Profile
Required:
You have a High school diploma or equivalent with applicable technical training
You have already gained a minimum 3 years mechanical electronic or other maintenance related experience
You posses technical knowledge of electrical maintenance
Knowledge of industrial machine repair or operation experience
Must be detail-oriented proactive and a self-starter
Excellent verbal written organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 40 lbson a consistent basis
Desired:
Team leader experience or training
Familiarity with pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry
Hot work lock out tag out hazmat or OSHA certification training
