What Youll Do

As a Technician within our Test & Development department youll work as part of a highly skilled workshop-based team supporting vehicle test programmes at Farnborough and beyond.

Youll work closely with Test & Development Engineers carrying out electrical and mechanical build modification instrumentation diagnostics and faultfinding activities. Your work will help ensure vehicles are correctly configured and tested to the highest standards both on site and at external proving grounds.

This is a practical varied role involving prototype vehicles advanced systems and cuttingedge technology including EV and hybrid platforms.

What Were Looking For

Youll be an experienced technician with a strong electrical and mechanical background ideally gained within automotive or other complex engineering environments. Youll be comfortable working independently reading technical drawings diagnosing issues and supporting demanding test schedules.

Youll bring a proactive mindset strong problemsolving skills and a commitment to safety quality and teamwork. Thriving in a handson role where no two days are the same.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in commercial vehicles buses coaches HGVs or specialist vehicles
• Exposure to EV or hybrid systems including highvoltage and CAN networks
• Experience with vehicle instrumentation and data logging systems
• PSV or HGV driving licence
• Background in related sectors such as rail aerospace marine mobile plant or tier1 suppliers
