Were looking for a Cyclic Works Department Manager to join our Maintenance team in Dunedin. Youll lead our cyclic works teams helping us ensure levels of service programming and delivery of work and compliance are to a high standard.

As a Maintenance Cyclic Works Department Manager you will coordinate all supervisors employees plant resources and subcontractor teams completing cyclic works for the Dunedin City Council maintenance contract. Our values will drive everything you do.

- Oversee contractual procedures for managing changes to scope of work for direct work and sub-contractor agreements
- Ensure reports claims and programmes are prepared and submitted correctly and in a timely manner
- Ensure forward planning organising and ordering of contract subbies/ survey/ materials/ plant/ people
- Ensure your department staff are provided with leadership and guidance to maximise performance
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and other key stakeholders

- BE NZCE or significant experience in the infrastructure / civil / maintenance industry
- AWM (formally RAMM) knowledge and understanding of asset management tools and systems will be beneficial.
- Experience in cost control forecasting and financial management.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining a strong safety and quality culture in a maintenance team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand health and safety and environmental standards and regulations.
- Current Class 1 driver licence
