Job Summary
Talentmark are recruiting for a Scientist to join a small biotechnology company that develop and supply PCR kits to be based at their site in Harlow Essex on a permanent basis.
This role would be suitable for someone who has 2 years experience in PCR and genotyping. The salary on offer is 35-40K.

The role:
- Provide technical support to customers via email and phone and occasionally in person.
- Design optimisation and validation of PCR-based genotyping assays.
- DNA extraction quantification and quality assessment.
- Contribute to internal R&D and new product development projects.
- Perform QC testing of reagents PCR master mixes and instrumentation.
- A degree in Molecular Biology Genetics Plant Science or a related biological discipline.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory.
- Experience with PCR and standard DNA handling techniques.
