Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Manager to join a well-established family-owned insurance agency. With a long-standing reputation for excellence and strong carrier relationships the agency offers a small-agency feel while providing comprehensive insurance solutions in Personal Lines (PL) and Small Business Commercial Lines (CL).
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $70000 - $90000 (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Opportunities: Eligible for commission/profit-sharing bonuses
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage employees in Personal Lines Commercial Lines and back-office operations ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Provide leadership and support to a team
- Assist with servicing and sales as needed particularly for walk-in clients.
- Manage carrier relationships billing and accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Support the quoting and renewal process for new and existing business when necessary.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting professional growth and development among team members.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required; additional designations are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an independent insurance agency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with billing accounting and Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a team with a strong focus on mentorship and team development.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
