As a Senior Manger of Program Management at Caterpillar you will have the opportunity to leads a team of project management professionals and oversee the operational functions and strategies of more complex corporate programs.

What You Will Do:

• Evaluating and providing guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; developing strategies to ensure all projects within the program are cohesive and in line with organizational goals.
• Overseeing the hiring development and management of all project teams within the program including both internal staff and external contractors.
• Defining establishing and monitoring the programs project management goals.
• Collaborating with business executives on using a disciplined project management approach and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.

What You Have:

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive experience in knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Planning and Organizing: Extensive experience in knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
• Cross-Team Integration: Extensive experience in understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate coordinate work across divisions and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
• Budgeting: Extensive experience in knowledge of organizations budget process; ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Degree or equivalent experience desired
• Progressive project management experience including extensive supervisory experience

Summary Pay Range:
