| Detailed Description: | This is a full-time temporary benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of August 31 appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding. The Program Manager supports both the ALSAM Bridging the Gap Support Fund Program and the Humanities Center in different capacities. The ALSAM Program provides programming in science technology engineering and math (STEM) for high school students from Mater Dei and Juan Diego Catholic high schools. The Humanities Center enriches the campus community with research grants student fellowships public seminars and workshops major and minor programs a gallery for hosting exhibitions faculty development an adult continuing education program and much more. This position will independently conceptualize lead and grow all non-curricula aspects of the Bridging the Gap program to execute the ALSAM Foundations vision strategizing to create new expanded partnerships with high schools identifying and executing new and enhanced programming opportunities and facilitating continuing support of students after they are admitted to USD. The Manager collaborates and liaises with internal and external partners including a STEM faculty advisory board high school personnel students and guardians and manages the Bridging the Gap Endowment budget including strategizing to execute programming within budget and maintaining detailed records. For the Humanities Center this oversees the day to day center operations and provides support through coordinating and marketing events maintaining audio visual equipment functionality for and during events and providing front office support as assigned. This position will work with offices on campus to coordinate activities related to the programs including scheduling events and meetings and liaising with the College Deans office staff. | Posting Salary: | $5858.67-$6034.43 per month; Excellent Benefits The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience education and other factors including departmental budget. |
