Job Summary

ThePricing Specialistsupports profitable growth by developing and maintaining competitive pricing solutions across MaersksCanadian inland and transportation logistics products. This role partners closely withSales Operations and Product teams in Canadato deliver timely accurate and marketaligned pricing forLTL FTL intermodal and CanadaUS crossborder transportation while ensuring adherence to commercial strategy operational feasibility and margin targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain competitive pricing forCanadian domestic transportation services includingLTL FTL and intermodal rail/truck solutions across assigned customers lanes and regions

  • Supportcustomer RFQs tenders and spot pricing requestsfor Canadaonly andCanadaUS crossbordermovements ensuring alignment with Maersks commercial and pricing strategy

  • AnalyzeCanadian transportation cost drivers including linehaul fuel surcharges accessorial drayage rail costs terminal charges and crossborder complexities

  • Monitor and respond to Canadian market conditions such ascarrier capacity rail service dynamics regional lane imbalances fuel volatility and seasonal fluctuations

  • Collaborate withCanadian Sales Operations Finance and Product teamsto validate pricing feasibility service coverage and capacity availability

  • Track pricing performance andlanelevel margin trendsacross Canadian corridors; proactively identify risks tied to cost increases regulatory changes or service disruptions

  • Maintain pricing data rate sheets routing assumptions and documentation within internal pricing and transportation management systems

  • Support continuous improvement ofCanadian transportation pricing models tools and governance including standardization of inland and intermodal pricing approaches

  • Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies approval frameworks and delegation of authority applicable to the Canadian business

  • Provide adhoc pricing analysis scenario modeling and reporting to support commercial decisionmaking within the Canadian transportation network

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree inBusiness Supply Chain Logistics Transportation or Finance or equivalent experience

  • 35 years of experience in transportation pricing or logistics within the Canadian market with handson exposure toLTL FTL and/or intermodal pricing

  • Solid understanding ofCanadian domestic transportation networks including regional lane structures accessorials and modal economics

  • Working knowledge ofCanadaUS crossborder transportation pricing including common cost components and operational considerations

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assesslane economics pricing competitiveness and margin performance

  • Advanced proficiency inExceland experience with pricing tools TMS or analytical platforms

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Canadian commercial and operational teams

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in afastpaced Canadian transportation environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withinCanadian transportation providers freight forwarders 3PLs or integrated logistics organizations

  • Demonstrated experience supportinglarge Canadian transportation RFQs and national tenders

  • Handson exposure tointermodal rail pricing in Canada including coordination with Class I rail partners

  • Familiarity withprovincial/regional transportation dynamics fuel surcharge mechanisms and Canadian regulatory considerations

  • Prior exposure to Maersk or similar integrated logistics offerings includingInland Intermodal and Ground Freight solutions in Canada
