The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate entry and timely payment of domestic and international vendor invoices. This role interacts with many areas of the organization and will serve as a primary contact for vendors.

This role is offered as hybrid with the expectation to be in the Brno office 3 days per week. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic. #LI-Hybrid

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Enter vendor invoices into the system obtaining proper approval and ledger account information to prepare payments for ACH and wire transfers.
• Follow appropriate procedures to process new vendors by obtaining the required documentation.
• Maintain vendor relationships by making timely payments responding to inquiries and following up with any invoice discrepancies.
• Track purchase orders for accrual purposes and to match against the invoice to ensure all details correspond.
• Work closely with expense approvers to ensure proper treatment of prepaids accruals fixed assets etc.
• Perform required month end close duties which include accruals reclasses and other miscellaneous journal entries.
• Assist with monthly budget review to ensure accurate posting of expenses.
• Assist with annual audit requirements by providing documentation and support.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience (Required).
• Basic understanding of US GAAP (Required).
• Experience working with multiple foreign currencies (Preferred).
• Command of Polish (reading) would be a plus.
• Ability to work in a high growth fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational analytical and time management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong English skills.
