Who we need
Reporting directly to the Team Coordinator of the Graphics department we are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our product manufacturing this hands-on production role you will execute assigned print jobs end-to-end from receiving your work completing the print run to cleaning up and preparing for the next job. As our new Screen Printer you will play a critical part in producing high-quality printed components that meet precise colour registration and durability standards. You will work hands-on with screens inks and production tools in a fast-paced environment where consistency and accuracy are essential. As a key member of the production team you will contribute directly to output quality operational efficiency and continuous improvement on the floor.
This is an existing full-time hourly role working day shift (7:30am4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am2:00pm Friday) on-site at our Scarborough manufacturing facility.

As our new Screen Printer you will:
- Prepare materials and space. You will set up screens and jigs for production printing and prepare and clean the space and materials to meet our quality production requirements. You will follow a formula to create an exact colour match using mixed paints and inks. You will adjust the positioning of the design or screen to ensure specified colour print registration.
- Execute daily production work. You will use film ink a spray gun a squeegee and other tools to print screens. You will examine printed products for defects to ensure adherence to our quality standards and escalate any concerns to the supervisor. You will clean print screens using Standard Operating Procedures after a production run is complete.
- Document. You will complete and maintain daily production reports. You will identify any areas for optimization and support our continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to policies and procedures. You will conduct all work duties as per the WHMIS and Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations and the health safety and environmental policies procedures and policies of Array Canada. You will report issues and incidents to the Supervisor immediately.
You have:
- The background. You have experience gained either through a community college diploma in Screen Printing or through direct printing experience (screen printing textile industrial or signage) role with a variety of inks. You have a high attention to detail and accuracy particularly in colour matching.
- The problem-solving skills. You apply common sense when carrying out written oral or diagram-form instructions navigating multiple variables in standardized situations. You can apply basic algebra and geometry concepts and calculate scaling amounts and percentages to ensure accuracy in proportions and measurements.
- The toolkit. You can confidently use manual and power tools including a ruler utility knife screw driver drill stir spatula squeegee and power washer for screen reclaiming. You are comfortable using basic software.
- The organization and adaptability. You can easily prioritize work orders juggle multiple projects and pivot as needed to ensure all tasks are done in a timely manner. You are a team player but are equally as productive working independently. You have a high sense of urgency and dedication.
- The interpersonal skills. You have professional written and verbal communication skills and you are open to feedback and guidance. You can build trust and collaborative relationships with team members vendors customers and leaders.
- The flexibility. You are willing and available to work extended hours during peak periods to meet production deadlines.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $24 - $25/hr. Compensation is thoughtfully determined based on your experience skill set and alignment with our internal compensation framework. Were always happy to answer questions about compensation throughout the hiring process.
