Your new role
Are you passionate about supporting young people and empowering teams to do their best work Were looking for a Assistant House Supervisor Residential Care to help lead the day-to-day life of our vibrant 24/7 residential home.
In this hands-on leadership role youll work side-by-side with the Team Leader to keep the house running smoothly supporting staff promoting safety and wellbeing and helping create a warm therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
From guiding and mentoring staff overseeing daily operations and ensuring OHS standards are met to working directly with young people and their support networks youll play a vital role in helping each child feel safe and supported to achieve their goals.
Youll have the opportunity to use your initiative step into leadership and make meaningful decisions all while being backed by strong systems clear practices and a supportive leadership team.

Your skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications and / or extensive experience in a human services welfare or social services role.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field particularly within a therapeutic environment.
- Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Proven skills and experience in development of behavioral management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviors.
- Ability to supervise and support staff.
