Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled GIS Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha this role you will lead the development and implementation of advanced GIS solutions to support the management and maintenance of road networks in the region.
- Design and implement GIS-based solutions for road network analysis asset management and maintenance planning
- Develop and maintain spatial databases for road infrastructure and related assets
- Create high-quality maps reports and data visualizations to support decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data with other systems and workflows
- Manage GIS projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and quality results
- Stay current with emerging GIS technologies and industry best practices in road O&M
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous quality control processes
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in GIS Geomatics Geography or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS with a focus on roads and infrastructure projects
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage spatial databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to work on-site in Doha Qatar and travel as required for project needs
