Key Staffing is partnering with a well-established and reputable organization in the industrial distribution space. This company has built a strong presence across the Western United States and is known for its commitment to customer service technical expertise and long-term client partnerships.
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to support continued growth within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently in the field building client relationships and providing solution-based sales support to industrial customers.
Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts. This role requires regular travel within the assigned territory strong communication skills and the ability to understand technical product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel daily within assigned territory to meet with prospective and existing customers
- Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups to generate and qualify sales leads
- Respond to inbound inquiries and convert opportunities into sales
- Present product solutions and provide demonstrations as needed
- Identify customer needs and overcome technical and business objections
- Prepare quotes sales orders and pricing details
- Track inventory levels and communicate product availability
- Provide accurate delivery timelines and coordinate customer expectations
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Facilitate customer training and product education
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within CRM
- Collaborate with internal teams including inside sales to ensure seamless service
- Prepare reports on sales activities and performance
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Bilingual proficiency preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of sales or customer-facing experience (industrial or technical sales a plus)
- Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Highly motivated self-driven and goal-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced changing environment
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

- Frequent driving standing walking and sitting

- Occasional outdoor work and varying weather conditions
