Automotive Service Technician – Used Vehicle & Maintenance

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred
• Dealership or repair shop experience is a plus
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics preferred
• Ford experience or factory training is helpful but not required
• Missouri State Vehicle Inspector license (or ability to obtain after hire) preferred
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Must have basic tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn
• Must pass background check MVR check and drug screening

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes tire rotations fluid checks and other routine maintenance services
• Inspect and replace filters belts batteries and wiper blades as needed
• Conduct multi-point inspections on customer and pre-owned vehicles
• Inspect used vehicles to identify mechanical electrical and safety concerns
• Diagnose vehicle issues using scan tools and recommend necessary repairs
• Perform repairs on brakes suspension engine components and other systems as needed
• Complete module updates and reprogramming when required
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation
• Accurately document inspections repairs and maintenance performed
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors managers and sales staff
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while following dealership and OSHA standards
