Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous automotive technician experience preferred
- Dealership or repair shop experience is a plus
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics preferred
- Ford experience or factory training is helpful but not required
- Missouri State Vehicle Inspector license (or ability to obtain after hire) preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Must have basic tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn
- Must pass background check MVR check and drug screening
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes tire rotations fluid checks and other routine maintenance services
- Inspect and replace filters belts batteries and wiper blades as needed
- Conduct multi-point inspections on customer and pre-owned vehicles
- Inspect used vehicles to identify mechanical electrical and safety concerns
- Diagnose vehicle issues using scan tools and recommend necessary repairs
- Perform repairs on brakes suspension engine components and other systems as needed
- Complete module updates and reprogramming when required
- Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation
- Accurately document inspections repairs and maintenance performed
- Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors managers and sales staff
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while following dealership and OSHA standards
