[US DC] Manager, Asset Protection

We are seeking an Asset Protection Manager to oversee asset protection security and risk mitigation efforts within our operations. This role is responsible for driving consistent execution of asset protection standards leading investigations and ensuring compliance through audits and employee engagement.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong cross-functional partnership and the ability to identify risk drive accountability and implement practical solutions that improve both security and operational performance.

You will

• Execute HelloFresh Asset Protection Standards of Work (SOW) by maintaining a consistent presence on the floor driving accountability and ensuring alignment with company expectations
• Lead and conduct operational compliance and security audits (e.g. access control camera systems visitor management vendor compliance) to identify risk and drive corrective actions
• Own end-to-end investigations including case development documentation interviews evidence management and partnership with law enforcement when applicable
• Lead coach and develop a team of Asset Protection Specialists by setting clear expectations reinforcing Standards of Work and driving accountability for performance investigations and audit execution
• Drive shrink reduction through data analysis root cause identification and implementation of targeted action plans
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations HR and staffing agencies to ensure adherence to policies mitigate risk and address employee related concerns
• Monitor and report on key Asset Protection metrics including theft trends audit results and incident data
• Ensure all incidents are properly documented investigated and resolved in accordance with company policies and legal standards
• Develop and present data-driven business cases to support security improvements resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies
• Lead site level emergency preparedness efforts including emergency action plans and coordination with local first responders
• Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements to strengthen controls reduce loss and enhance overall site security

You have

• Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Business or related field or equivalent experience
• 35 years of Asset Protection Loss Prevention or Corporate Security experience (distribution logistics or manufacturing environments preferred)
• Proven experience conducting investigations audits and risk assessments
• Experience working with security systems including camera systems access control and intrusion detection
• Strong working knowledge of incident management case documentation and legal considerations
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
