At LION you are offered a role where you can truly make a difference. LION develops and manufactures fire simulation systems for training purposes worldwide. These solutions are used by fire brigades defence organisations emergency services and industrial addition we sell PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) specialising in firefighter protective clothing. To further strengthen our sales team we are looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager.
About the Role
The primary focus of this position is the preparation of commercially and technically sound quotations and proposals for our Training Solutions projects. These projects involve technical firefighting training facilities ranging from small installations to complete training sites worth several million euros. Our customers vary from small and medium-sized enterprises to large multinationals and government organisations.
Your key responsibility is to provide commercial and technical support to the sales organisation. This includes lead qualification developing the commercial model and ensuring a smooth handover to the operational organisation once the project has been secured.
You are proactive and able to move quickly within the organisation. You take the lead (and enjoy doing so!) in drafting technical and commercial proposals gathering the required knowledge internally. When dealing with tender processes you are responsible for leading these trajectories and applying effective stakeholder management working closely with Engineering Project Management and Operations to ensure timely submissions.
In short you bring strong commercial skills combined with technical affinity. You are highly customerâfocused ensure the customer always remains central and work proactively and accurately.
The Team
The current team consists of a Category Sales Manager Training Solutions two International Account Managers and three Inside Sales Account Managers. Are you the Inside Sales Account Manager we are looking for to join our Training Solutions sales team
What Do You Bring
In addition to an MBO level of working and thinking you are above all commercially oriented. You have a proven track record in meeting deadlines and achieving commercial targets and you are familiar with the demands of a dynamic sales environment. Experience with public tendering processes is considered a strong advantage.
You are fluent in both English and Dutch; knowledge of an additional foreign language is a pluspreferably French and/or German. Naturally you are proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.
