Launched in February 2026 our locationin Golden Valley MN is home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers is building our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.
As a Primary Therapist youll work thoughtfully with our patients to develop and implement their individualized treatment plans. This role will consist of conducting individual therapy meetings collaborating with patients outpatient teams and leading patients through their overall treatment program. Youll partner closely with the entirety of our treatment teams including Group Therapists Family Therapists and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.
This role will work with patients in our Mood & Anxiety Program while also offering the opportunity to be cross-trained within our specialty programs and services: Trauma OCD/Complex Anxiety Mental Health and Substance Use. The Primary Clinical Therapist is ideal for someone who is eager to collaborate with an array of clinicians and patient populations while broadening their clinical skillset through ample training and support.
What Youll Do:
- Complete initial intake evaluation to determine diagnosis and appropriateness of program
- Provide group and individual therapy
- Provide family therapy as needed
- Communicate with patients family members or support system on a weekly basis or as needed
- Coordinate care with patients outside providers to ensure continuity of care
- Communicate with patients homeschool and attend school re-entry meetings
- Create individualized weekly schedules for each patient based on need
- Assess patients progress and need for higher level of care transition plan and/or discharge
- Chart progress of patients appropriately
- Complete administrative documentation (initial treatment plans/updates discharges attendance research)
- Participate in professional development activities
- Provide insurance utilization team with updates
Who You Are:
- Are a Psychologist or Masters level therapist (required)
- Hold a Masters level clinical license
- 2 years clinical work experience post-Masters (preferred)
- Have knowledge and experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as other evidenced-based therapies
- Have experience with patients in crisis ideally prior experience working in partial hospitalization intensive outpatient inpatient hospital or residential setting

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including but not limited to your years of experience type of experience location and education/certifications. Compensation
$55000 - $75000 USD
