We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team here at MM Packaging Greensboro!
This position is 100% on site at our facility in Greensboro North Carolina.
Your Role
As a Quality Engineer you will be aleader within the quality team with respect to development of product specifications data collection systems line audit creation developing answers to internal and external complaints and creation of cross functional SOPs. Your responsibilities as a Quality Engineer include:
- Assuringadequate internal quality standards are in place
- Determining quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
- Establishingstatistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence
- Developingexperiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.
- Developingsampling plans by applying attribute variable AQL and sequential sampling methods
- Maintaining statistical process controls by applying charts for distributions and individual-medial/range for multi-stream processes
- Analyzingdata by completing hypothesis normal distribution and process capability analysis tests
- Preparing reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing data; making recommendations
- Designingand implementingquality assurance systems consistent with industry standards that increase quality levels
- Servingas primary trainer for all quality programs and initiatives.
- Leadingthe problem solving efforts for all quality complaints as well as overseeing the tracking and completion of corrective actions
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Statistics or Quality-Related field or equivalent work experience
5 years of experience in Quality Assurance
Supervisory experience preferred
CQE & Six Sigma Certifications preferred
Fluent communicationin written and spoken English (C1) other languages are an advantage
