Salary range: $70000 - $92500 based off educations and years of experience

Job Summary: Responsible for coordination of all counseling provided to individuals groups and families of children/youthserved in theCalabrese Youth Center (RCCF program).Thisalsoincludes providing counseling as well as coordination of other services by outside agencies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervise treatment planning and progress towards treatment goalsfor the children/youth in the RCCF program.

Provide guidance and technicalassistancetotheProgram ManagerandResidential Counselorsregardingtreatment issues and interventions.

Collaborate with the RCCF BCBARBTsandPsychiatrist and treatment planningteamfor the children/youth in theRCCF including other entities such as Day Treatment.

Assist in quality assurance procedures and policy development to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.

Coordinate staff training and development thatdirectly relatesto individual program implementation weekly group facilitation by direct care staff and crisis management.

Establishand maintain written and verbal communication with governing agenciesfamiliesand communityas needed.

Assist infacilitatingand encouraging family/parent involvement in children/youthprograms.

Assist in facilitating/coordinating children/youthtransitional plans when children/youthare ready for movement tonew programs/services.

Review children/youthsincident reportsfollow-upand communicate with other entitiesas necessary.

Attend andparticipatein Individual Child Plan(ICP)meetings.

Attend weekly program meetings.

Provide direct mental health services and support to youth and family within your scope

Handle all intake assessments including ensuringproper parties sign all consents; gather and organization of all intake paperwork.

Develop initial 24-hour treatment plan and 10-day individual child plan.

Scheduling and coordination of supervision for family visitswith support from admin.

Participation in BID and IEP meetings with school districts

Participation in county staffing to gather information for incoming admissions.

Handle ongoing communication with placement coordinators county caseworkersguardiansand placement agencies to support discharge to a lower level of care.

Serve as a liaison between Laradon and other agencies i.e. human services school/day treatmentmedical professionalsto ensure child/youths needs are met.

Provide 24-hour crisis intervention and counseling to children/youthas needed.

On-Call 24 hours/day leadership rotation

Drive participants as necessary for program needs.

Maintainregular and punctual attendance

As Laradon is a small employer and employees work in a collaborative team environment employee must be physically present in the office to perform his/her job functions.

Other duties as assigned.


Minimum TrainingRequirements:
All trainingsdeemedmandatory by Laradon

Aminimum of 24 hoursof approved trainingannually

Orientation

First Aid/CPR

Medication Certification

Mandatory Reporting

Incident Reporting/MANE

Safety Care
20 hours of on-the-job training.

Minimum Position Requirements:

Mastersin psychology social work or counseling.

LCSW or LPCrequired.

2 years post graduate experience working with adolescents.

Excellent communication andproblem solvingskills.

Highly organized and adaptable

Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force; physical condition to enable walking standing sitting stooping kneeling crouching or crawling; stamina to be on feet and active for full work days; ability to complete training and perform physical management of child/youth as necessary including physical restraints; ability to speak or exchange information in an audible manner.
