Job Summary
Position Overview
The Intern position is for students who are still in school working towards a geology engineering or environmental sciences degree. The position will include a wide range of activities within the environmental consulting business designed to cover a broad spectrum of experiences. Specific scheduling and hours requirements will be coordinated with local management.
Position requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
- Solid work ethic.
- Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize.
- An interest in learning all aspects of the business of consulting.
- Your own reliable vehicle to drive to project sites.
Essential Duties:
- Support the office project work and collaborate with technical staff to service clients and complete projects.
- Assistance with site investigation data analysis and report preparation activities.
- Assistance with site remediation system operations and maintenance activities.
- Environmental sampling of soil soil vapor indoor air and groundwater.
- Health and safety monitoring.
- Oversight of remediation and construction under close supervision by Roux staff.
