Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
- Support mentor and motivate your team
- Manage safety quality productivity and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with all support teams including Safety Ops Integration Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Lift up to 49 pounds stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours and frequently push pull squat bend and reach as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments and grocery locations include refrigerated environments)
- Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
A day in the life
Your day begins with a safety walkthrough and shift startup ensuring your team of hourly associates is ready to meet customer delivery promises. Youll spend most of your time on the floor coaching associates on safety protocols and quality standards while monitoring real-time metrics for productivity and package flow. Throughout your shift youll collaborate with cross-functional partnersSafety teams on incident prevention HR on attendance and engagement concerns and Aces on process improvements. Youll solve problems as they arise whether thats adjusting labor deployment to meet volume surges addressing equipment issues or removing barriers that prevent your team from succeeding. A significant part of your day involves developing your peopleconducting one-on-ones providing real-time feedback and recognizing great performance. Youll also analyze data to identify trends lead huddles to communicate priorities and ensure every package leaving your area meets Amazons quality standards before reaching the customers door.
- 1 years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- 1 years of performance metrics process improvement or lean techniques experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
