Selected candidates may be contacted as roles are Compliance Coordinator - Licensing & Permitting is responsible for coordinating and administering licensing permitting and related regulatory requirements. This role supports business continuity by ensuring liquor licenses health permits business licenses and related operating approvals are obtained renewed amended and tracked accurately and on role serves as a key internal resource to Brand and Operations Leaders providing practical guidance on licensing and permitting requirements supporting site changes and new openings and helping reduce regulatory risk and operational disruption. The ideal candidate is organized proactive detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced multi-location ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and execute the preparation submission renewal amendment and tracking of licenses permits and related regulatory filings across assigned liquor licenses applications and changes including ownership updates structural or operational change requests capacity changes patio applications endorsements and other related and action renewal dates regulatory conditions and application status to ensure locations remain current and accurate and organized compliance records trackers and documentation for all locations licenses and directly with provincial municipal and regulatory agencies inspectors landlords and internal stakeholders to obtain information resolve issues and move applications and interpret regulatory requirements communicate implications to internal partners and escalate risks or issues where new openings renovations relocations temporary events patio programs and other operational changes requiring licensing or permitting periodic audits of licensing and permitting records and identify gaps expiries missing documentation or compliance develop and maintain internal processes templates trackers and standard operating procedures to improve compliance execution and regulatory updates and legislative changes affecting liquor licensing permitting and restaurant operations and support implementation of required clear practical guidance to Brand Leaders and operators on licensing requirements timelines and compliance or post-secondary education in Business Administration Public Administration Legal Administration Hospitality or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.24 years of experience in licensing permitting compliance coordination legal/regulatory administration or a related supporting restaurant hospitality retail multi-unit or regulated operating environments is strongly of licensing permitting and relevant regulations; application processes; or management/administration of data-driven workplace platforms (e.g. Kintone) is strongly ability to work independently identify organizational needs proactively and drive tasks to administrative organizational and document management skills with high attention to written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal leaders and external in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and Outlook; experience with tracking systems or workflow platforms is an CompetenciesStrong ownership and follow-throughOrganization and attention to detailCritical thinking and sound judgmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesClear professional communicationRelationship management and stakeholder coordinationComfort working independently while knowing when to escalateHigh integrity and commitment to regulatory complianceSubmission of resume does not guarantee an interview or transfer.
