Overview
Group 1 Automotive is growing fast and looking to add 4 production-driven Flat-Rate Technicians (Flag) to our GMC Southwest team! If you have at least 6 months of flagged production experience and are motivated by efficiency quality work and strong earning potential this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume shop and accelerate your career!
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics troubleshooting and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhereto all company safety policies and procedures
- Providetimelyupdates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of flat-rate / flagged production experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work anda good drivingrecord
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes electrical/electronicsystemsor engine performance preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Mustpass backgroundcheckMVR and drug screening
