Group 1 Automotive is growing fast and looking to add 4 production-driven Flat-Rate Technicians (Flag) to our GMC Southwest team!
If you have at least 6 months of flagged production experience and are motivated by efficiency quality work and strong earning potential this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume shop and accelerate your career!
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics troubleshooting and testing on automotive systems
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
Adhereto all company safety policies and procedures
Providetimelyupdates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
Uphold company values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of flat-rate / flagged production experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license in the state that you will work anda good drivingrecord
National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes electrical/electronicsystemsor engine performance preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
