Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Multi-Modality) Full Time (Night Shift)
Location: Craig CO 81625
Salary Range: $60000 $90000 annually
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Multi-Modality) to join our healthcare team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple imaging modalities and thrive in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least two imaging modalities
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards including ALARA principles
- Verify patient identity using two identifiers and obtain informed consent when required
- Collect and document relevant patient medical history
- Educate patients on imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Conduct routine quality control (QC) checks per manufacturer and departmental guidelines
- Identify and escalate urgent or STAT cases to the Radiologist promptly
- Maintain accurate and complete imaging documentation and records
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed
- Support departmental workflow including clerical tasks and patient transport
- Assist with inventory management including ordering and stocking supplies
- Cross-train and support other imaging modalities as required
- Participate in on-call schedules weekends holidays and overtime as needed
- Float across imaging areas within scope of licensure
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to pass background screening drug testing and health clearance
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Education & Certification Requirements
Candidates must hold at least two certifications (or obtain within one year) from the following:
- ARRT: Radiography (R) CT MRI Mammography (M) Nuclear Medicine (N) Sonography (S)
- ARDMS: RDMS RVT RDCS RMSKS
- NMTCB Certification
- BLS Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
Experience
- Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- Multi-modality experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to cross-train in CT MRI DEXA or Mammography
