Job Summary
New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) a CARF-accredited non-profit is seeking a compassionate and reliable part timeLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) for our Mount Holly Location. This role focuses on safe patient-centered care during early morning dosing hours.
Schedule:
- Part-time
- Early mornings: 5:45 AM 12:00 PM
- Minimum 2 to 3 weekdays/week 1 Saturday/month (5:45 AM 10:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and dispense medications for Substance Use Disorders (SUD) in accordance with New Jersey State and Federal regulations under the supervision of the RN or Medical Director
- Accurately document medication administration vital signs and patient interactions
- Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any concerns to the RN or Medical Director
- Educate patients on medications potential side effects and adherence to treatment plans
- Conduct initial intake screenings and gather relevant medical information
- Prepare and administer TB skin tests and vaccinations as directed
- Provide basic wound care and first aid; respond appropriately to emergencies
- Maintain clinical areas and ensure proper stocking of medical supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments
- Serve as a liaison between patients clinical staff and case managers to ensure effective communication
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in New Jersey (required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Behavioral health or SUD experience preferred
