About the role
The Role
Were looking for a skilled and motivated Waste Management Compliance Advisor (CIWN WAMITAB qualified to join the group. If youre passionate about the environment have a keen eye for detail and want to be part of a business thats growing fastthis could be the opportunity youve been waiting for.
As the Wast Management Compliance Advisor youll be a key player in ensuring the business reaches its environmental goals. You will develop and implement a waste and environmental management system monitor and audit the entire lifecycle of liquid waste from collection to final disposal to minimise environmental impact and ensure regulatory compliance.
This role is based from our Bristol Depot with extensive travel throughout the UK.
What Youll Be Doing
Provide formal confirmation that tanker and depot treatment of liquid waste and related operational activities complies with statutory duties mitigates risks and achieves environmental targets
Ensure and monitor best practice in relation to the creation and implementation of waste management documents and records (environmental management system).
Oversee the provision of all environmental authorisation for all business activities and depots including permits licences consents registrations notifications and/or exemptions
About You
What Youll Bring
Were looking for someone with strong experience in a similar role who also has:
WAMITAB Level 4 Competency Aware Competence for Storage and Transfer of Hazardous Waste
A full current UK driving licence with a willingness to travel and work away from home
Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
A proactive approach to work and the ability to suggest improvements to processes and systems
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
