As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on the Subscriptions team you will play a critical role in shaping the future of subscriptions at Roblox. We are building a flexible scalable subscription platform from the ground up rebuilding core infrastructure and launching new features that transform how millions of people engage with Roblox. Roblox supports a diverse and growing set of subscription products including user-facing memberships creator-led memberships in multiple currencies. This role will help design and build the platform capabilities needed to support that breadth.

You will use multiple full stack development languages to create extensible and scalable UI components and backend systems within the Roblox Platform. This is a high-impact role where you will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable high-throughput services that directly impact millions of users. This role reports to an Engineering Manager on the Subscriptions team.

Drive the future of subscriptions on the largest social platform for play delivering innovative systems that empower developers to earn sustainably while enhancing the experience for over 100 million daily active usersBe a part of the team building the next generation of the Roblox Digital EconomyUse best programming practices optimizing code to be performantTake ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycleCollaborate with our product design data science and machine learning teams.

You Are:

• Experienced: You have experience as a front-end mobile or client apps engineer working on complex user interfaces. You have experience working on large-scale consumer applications in React/Redux are comfortable integrating basic iOS/Android native functionality and hold a BS in Computer Science or above.
• Fascinated by UX: You love to build delightful user experiences for millions of users. You care about the little details that no one notices are there.
• Curious: You are excited to work on a new UI platform inspired by React and powered by the Roblox game engine. Learning new languages and technologies is exciting to you.
• Analytical: You love to understand how your users interact with your interface and use the findings to maximize their impact.
• Versatile: You can shift focus and enjoy working outside your comfort zone
• Team-player: You work with and inspire others around you driving projects for the greater team.

Nice to Have:

• Familiar with Lua or Game Development.
• Experience working on large-scale backend services & distributed systems.
• BA/BS in Computer Science Applied Math Physics Engineering Statistics or another technical field.
