Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY

The US Prostate Cancer business is one of the largest and strategically critical franchises within Pfizer Oncology anchored by XTANDI a multibilliondollar marketleading therapy and strengthened by a robust latestage pipeline asset Mevrometostat.

The Director XTANDI & Mevrometostat Patient Experience Lead will be responsible for driving bestinclass consumer and patient engagement strategies across two priority assets. The role will initially focus primarily on XTANDI (initial 80% XTANDI / 20% Mevrometostat split) with responsibility for Mevrometostat increasing over time as the asset advances toward an anticipated first indication launch in 2027.

This leader will own the XTANDI US consumer strategy & tactical execution serving as the primary counterpart to our Alliance Partner (Astellas) Consumer team while simultaneously building the foundational end-to-end patient experience strategy for Mevrometostat to ensure US launch readiness and success. The role requires strong strategic analytical and crossfunctional leadership capabilities as well as deep expertise in consumer/patient marketing within a regulated industry.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

XTANDI Consumer Strategy & Execution

  • Own and lead the US XTANDI consumer strategic and tactical plan aligned to brand objectives lifecycle priorities and LOE preparedness.
  • Develop and execute consumer media strategy and an integrated omnichannel consumer marketing programs.
  • Serve as the primary US Consumer counterpart to Alliance Partner leads ensuring strong alignment and disciplined execution across teams.
  • Serve as Consumer Agency Lead managing creative and media agency partners scopes of work budgets and executional excellence.
  • Partner with Analytics to define KPIs monitor performance and optimize consumer programs in real time.
  • Lead consumerfocused planning and mitigation strategies in support of XTANDI LOE readiness.

Mevrometostat Patient Experience Strategy & Execution (Growing Focus Over Time)

  • Develop and own the Mevrometostat Patient Experience strategic and tactical plan aligned with US launch readiness and future gotomarket strategy including development and execution of core launch deliverables (e.g. patient positioning message development website patient brochure OPDP submission etc)
  • Serve as the US Patient Experience Lead for Mevrometostat ensuring patient insights are embedded early into launch planning.
  • Shape patient support services and access resources.
  • Lead evaluation and future development of a Patient Ambassador Program ensuring authenticity compliance and scalability.
  • Partner with Global Marketing Medical Advocacy and Corporate Affairs to establish a strong durable patient engagement foundation ahead of launch.

CrossFunctional Leadership & Portfolio Integration

  • Ensure strong connectivity between consumer/patient and HCP strategies partnering closely with XTANDI and Mevrometostat HCP Marketing and other crossfunctional teams.
  • Contribute to Strategic & Tactical Plans Operating Plans POA materials and senior leadership updates across the portfolio.
  • Monitor the evolving prostate cancer competitive landscape and translate insights into patient and consumer engagement strategies.
  • Lead through influence modeling Pfizer Values and fostering strong crossfunctional collaboration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree with 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience OR
    Masters degree with 7 years OR PhD/PharmD with 5 years of experience.
  • Significant experience in US consumer and/or patient marketing including ownership of complex omnichannel programs and OPDP submissions.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic marketing plans in competitive regulated environments.
  • Strong leadership communication and influencing skills with the ability to lead crossfunctional and agency partners.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate insight into clear strategic action.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Oncology and/or GU cancer experience strongly preferred.
  • DirecttoConsumer (DTC) media experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting asset launch readiness and/or LOE planning.
  • Copromotion or alliance experience a plus.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Work Location: Hybrid at US Pfizer Oncology Commercial sites (NYHQ Collegeville Lake Forest Bothell La Jolla)
  • Travel: Domestic travel up to 25% with additional travel as needed for key meetings congresses and patient engagements.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176600.00 to $294300.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
