Carson City NV
We are currently seeking a motivated CNC Operator Trainee to join a growing team in Carson City. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in manufacturing and machining with hands-on training and long-term potential.
Schedule:
MondayThursday 1:00 PM 11:30 PM (4/10 schedule)
Pay:
Starting at $17.00/hour with higher pay considered based on experience
Position Overview:
This role is designed for individuals eager to learn CNC operations. While prior experience is not required familiarity with measuring tools or CNC machinery is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints
- Operate CNC machines under direct supervision
- Make offsets and adjustments based on materials and tooling
- Inspect parts during production to ensure quality standards
- Identify and tag non-conforming parts
- Change machine tooling as needed
- Perform additional duties based on training and skill development
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Experience using micrometers or similar measuring tools is helpful but not required
