Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team inMidland TX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect connections and other in-process machining of tools.
- Use maintain and assist in calibration of all measuring equipment.
- Complete all required inspection documentation for inspected products.
- Ensure awareness of and compliance with relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Minimum of two years quality experience.
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or training
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to use simple math skills.
- Basic knowledge of using precision measuring instruments.
- Able to read documents/blueprints.
- Must be detail precision orientated.
- Current knowledge of equipment materials and practices used in the inspection trade.
- Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work order.
