We are currently looking for a HR Specialist I to join our team in Human

Resources HR Compliance

A Day in the Life:

  • Conduct Investigations:Independently conduct investigations into complaints or allegations ensuring adherence to relevant laws regulations and company policies. Investigate issues such as harassment discrimination retaliation workplace conflicts misconduct or breaches of policies and procedures.
  • Evidence Gathering: Collect and analyze evidence including documents emails witness statements and other relevant materials. Use investigative techniques such as reviewing records and examining digital evidence when applicable.
  • Interview Witnesses: Interview complainants respondents witnesses and other individuals involved in the investigation process. Gather detailed and accurate information while maintaining professionalism sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze findings from investigations to determine credibility consistency and relevance. Evaluate the impact of findings on company policies procedures and workplace culture. Monitor complaint and investigation trends and propose recommendations to strengthen Nissans workplace culture and overall compliance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive investigative reports detailing findings conclusions and recommended actions. Ensure reports are clear concise and supported by evidence. Present findings to management HR legal teams or other relevant stakeholders as necessary and input information into the Ethics and Compliance Hotline Case Management System.
  • Compliance and Legal Considerations: Stay updated on relevant laws regulations and best practices related to workplace investigations. Ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Conflict Resolution: Provide guidance and recommendations to management on resolving workplace conflicts and improving organizational processes based on investigation findings.
  • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training sessions for employees and managers on topics such as conflict resolution harassment prevention and effective communication to promote a positive and respectful workplace environment.

Who Were Looking for:

Required:

  • Related professional-level experience which includesprevious experience conducting workplace investigations preferably in a corporate manufacturing distribution or HR environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws regulations and best practices related to workplace investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather evaluate and interpret evidence objectively.
  • High level of integrity ethics and professionalism with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the investigation process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other PC applications.
