Job Description/Responsibilities
As Market Development Representative youllown a territory of off-premiseaccounts (grocery convenience and liquor stores) and play a direct role in growing Sazeracs presence on shelves and in carts. This is a field-based sales role whereyoullbuild relationships influence buying decisions and execute programs that drive distribution visibility and volume. Ifyouremotivated by hitting goals managing your own territory and seeing the direct impact of your work in-store this role offers a clear path for growth within a high-performing sales organization.
What Youll Do:
- Driveterritory salesgrowthby increasing distribution shelf presence and promotional execution across assigned accounts
- Buildandmaintainstrong relationships with retail partners and act as a trusted advisor on category insights and product assortment
- Partner with distributors to execute in-store selling strategies merchandising plans and promotions
- Analyze sales data and market trends toidentifyopportunities and adjust account plans to deliver results
- Own performance against key metrics including volume distribution and display execution
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- Bachelors degree
- 1 years of field sales experienceOR if recent graduaterelevantsales or marketing internship orsimilar salesexperience
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel within assigned territory
Preferred:
- Previousalcohol-beverage or CPG sales experience
- Experience usingsales data analyticsor reportingtools
- Proventrack recordof achieving sales targets or KPIs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
