Sports Senior Manager ESF Explore

• Oversee the daily operations of ESF Explores Sports products and services across all sites and programmes during term and camp time.
• Ensures smooth day to day running of the department including the scheduling of and enrolment into classes and assignment of teaching staff/coaches.
• Oversees the efficiency of site management and allocation of staff and resources.
• Manages the relationship with sites at which courses are held delegating as necessary to a programme manager in charge.
• Ensures quality teaching practices across course delivery. Conduct programme visits and observations to ensure quality and effectiveness of programs.
• Develop promotional material content and manage timelines for holiday and term programs in collaboration with the marketing team
• Coordinates and manages the departments internal professional development calendar liaising with other providers in establishing a programme that supports sports leadership development
• Monitor and oversee a specified budget limit especially as it relates to curriculum and coach resources.
  • Assist with preparing and managing the sports section budget and monitor financial performance (profitability income expenditure enrolment) throughout the year
• Provide regular updates on team performance and initiatives.

Typical reporting relationship: Reports to ESF Explore Director of Operations

Minimum typical education:

• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• Masters degree preferred or sufficient working experience
• Experience with budgeting and some financial analysis acumen

Minimum typical experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in business management in the sports industry
• Proven track record in team leadership and sports management.

• Understanding of the sports extracurricular market and PE sports at international schools
