At Lancashire County Council were modernising how data flows across the organisation and beyond and were looking for an Azure Integration Engineer to help make it happen.
This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale meaningful integrations that support frontline services improve decision-making and enable modern digital and data-driven solutions across the county.
What youll be doing
- Design and develop secure scalable integration solutions using modern cloud technologies
- Build and manage APIs using tools such as Azure API Management and Logic Apps
- Develop and optimise SQL queries views and stored procedures
- Work closely with data architects business analysts and application teams
- Troubleshoot test and support integrations to ensure reliability
- Implement aspects of the data strategy by aligning integration practices with LCC enterprise architecture and data strategy objectives
- Maintain technical documentation and standards
What were looking for
- Experience with integration technologies such as REST APIs JSON and XML
- Experience creating Integrations using Azure or other cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
- Strong SQL / T-SQL skills
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments including CI/CD and automation.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- A commitment to quality collaboration and continuous improvement
