At Lancashire County Council were modernising how data flows across the organisation and beyond and were looking for an Azure Integration Engineer to help make it happen.

This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale meaningful integrations that support frontline services improve decision-making and enable modern digital and data-driven solutions across the county.

What youll be doing

• Design and develop secure scalable integration solutions using modern cloud technologies
• Build and manage APIs using tools such as Azure API Management and Logic Apps
• Develop and optimise SQL queries views and stored procedures
• Work closely with data architects business analysts and application teams
• Troubleshoot test and support integrations to ensure reliability
• Implement aspects of the data strategy by aligning integration practices with LCC enterprise architecture and data strategy objectives
• Maintain technical documentation and standards

What were looking for

• Experience with integration technologies such as REST APIs JSON and XML
• Experience creating Integrations using Azure or other cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
• Strong SQL / T-SQL skills
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments including CI/CD and automation.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• A commitment to quality collaboration and continuous improvement
