IT Technician Forward-Thinking Secondary School Bristol

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Bristol. This is a key role supporting the effective use of technology across teaching learning and administration.
The successful candidate will provide technical support maintain IT systems and ensure that all digital infrastructure operates efficiently. You will work closely with staff and students to resolve issues quickly and contribute to ongoing IT improvements.
This role requires strong technical knowledge problem-solving ability and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT support across the school
Maintain hardware software and network systems
Support classroom technology and digital learning
Manage user accounts and permissions
Assist with IT upgrades and projects
Ensure data security and compliance
Requirements:
IT qualification or relevant experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills
School experience (desirable)
