INTERVIEWS REQUIRED
STEEL TOE SHOES REQUIRED
Must be FULLY CLEARED to start
***Training will be during day shift and typically there is an extreme delay in getting start details as trainings are scheduled in a group setting***
MUST HAVES:
1. Prepare machines for daily operation. glue tanks cases/trays and blanks.
Attach/Record all material load tags to/on daily production reports.
2. Keep Forming Technician aware of machine needed adjustments.
3. Continuously watch machines to maintain minimal amount of waste.
The Forming Machine Packer Inspector is responsible for basic operation of the machines in the Finishing Department that you are assigned to. This includes ensuring that the machines are performing at 100% efficiency ensuring that product coming off the machines and being packed is of the highest level of quality keeping the machines and work area clean and ensuring that you and your teammates are working safely.
Daily Duties:
Prepare machines for daily operation. glue tanks cases/trays and blanks.
Attach/Record all material load tags to/on daily production reports.
Keep Forming Technician aware of needed machine adjustments.
Continuously watch machines to maintain minimal amount of waste.
Keep machine downtime to an absolute minimum.
Continuously check products to ensure quality.
Carry out Sanitation/Preventative Maintenance procedures listed in the Sanitation/Preventative book attached to each forming machine.
Assist teammates on other machines when possible to maximize the performance of the Finishing Department as a whole.
Clean up machines and work area at shift end in preparation for the next shift.
Ensure that all waste is properly disposed of in hogger not trash.
The Forming Packer Inspector is to adhere to all Smurfit Westrock policies and procedures and will follow the cleaning and sanitation practices be aware of Pest Management Maintenance and HACCP The Adequacy of Prerequisite and Food Defense and Safety Programs and the GMP programs as well as ensure The Operational Methods and Personnel Practices are maintained.
